Our business has been dedicated to supporting corporate companies with their venue sourcing needs since 1994. As a result, we have been able to build up an extensive database of venues and hotels globally, with a valuable network of key industry contacts in the UK, Europe and Asia-Pacific.

Offering you a committed team that will provide an outstanding service to meet all your event needs, whether it is for a small seminar, a team incentive, a global conference or for your annual corporate party, your event will be delivered professionally and successfully with our help.

Undertaking all the time consuming yet vital tasks, our service is targeted to help you reduce the cost of administration, time and effort of your event. We work alongside you throughout the whole event process.

Now at 25 years of Business, Venues For Business is in the hands of two new owners with an additional 20+ years of experience between them; Amy & Magdalena.

Meet the Team

Amy Woodthorpe
Amy WoodthorpeDirector
Amy has worked internationally in roles spanning across event operations, event planning & coordination and most recently; sales account management of two ITV branded Live Experiences, This Morning Live & Love Island Live.

Her story started 12 years ago at Lainston House Hotel, where she met Magdalena. Amy Worked on the delivery of weddings and small corporate events operationally. After University, Amy worked with Eventist Group and managed a Pop-Up venue with a capacity of 1000 visitors per night, as well as working on the event production & coordination of a number of events including RIAT, Gay Pride & Farnborough Airshow.

Her experience of managing events of many different types, styles and capacities, means that she completely understands the need of an event manager, in order to find the perfect venue/hotel for their specific event.

She enjoys swapping her busy work schedule during the week, to go on long country walks with her two little dogs, Rufus & Taco at the weekends (AKA our PR executives here at VfB).

Magdalena is a multi-skilled professional with excellent customer service and customer relations skills gained in five star hospitality and management development having worked in a hospitality industry for over 15 years.

Her experience gives her the ability to narrow down the perfect venues suited to you and her love to the industry and people makes her the perfect match in her role as a Director.

Magdalena loves the great outdoors, whether that is walking her beloved dog Mojo by the seaside or exploring the nearby beautiful New Forest. She also has a great passion for interior design and fashion.
